La Tavola has successfully demonstrated its eligibility for certification and is committed to continuous improvement of its products and services to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
SA8000 is a voluntary standard, verifiable through third-party audits, that defines the requirements organizations must meet in terms of social responsibility, with particular focus on safeguarding and improving workers’ rights, working conditions, and the adoption of an effective management system.
La Tavola has started the SA8000 certification process, and the verification activities required to achieve certification are currently underway.

In order to increase its commitment and reduce its CO2 emissions year after year, La Tavola has decided to plant trees with Treedom. Treedom is the only site that allows people and companies to plant trees, financing directly local farmers around the world. Every single tree is planted, photographed, geolocated and is visible online

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent common targets on a set of issues that are fundamental to the development and well-being of the planet:

Eat and grow with us
The 'Eat and Grow with Us' project is aimed at pre-school, primary and middle school children from poor and low-income families who are unable to meet their school fees.
La Tavola has joined this initiative to help pay for these children not only a meal but also educational materials and socio-cultural activities, to allow them to experience those educational moments that develop socialisation and integration in the community, making them feel like everyone else and not discriminated against.
